ICAN Successfully Conducts First Batch of Basic Management and Communication Skills (BMCS) Training

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) successfully organized the 1st Batch of Basic Management and Communication Skills (BMCS) Training on 7–8 Bhadra 2083. The two-day training program was designed to equip aspiring Chartered Accountants with essential professional, managerial, interpersonal, communication, and digital skills required for their academic and professional journey.
The training witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a total of 413 participants attending the program. The program focused on preparing students for their transition into professional environments, particularly Articleship, while strengthening their understanding of professional conduct, communication, relationship management, workplace expectations, and emerging digital risks.
The two-day training covered six technical sessions focusing on Articleship preparation and interviews, work culture and professional conduct, Articleship framework and work-study balance, professional relationships, business and interpersonal communication, and cybersecurity, AI and digital risk management. The sessions provided practical insights into professional preparedness, workplace conduct, communication, relationship building, Articleship responsibilities, time management, and the responsible use of technology and AI in professional environments.
